Since 2016, we have had the privilege of working with the Billion Oyster Project to carry out collaborative, participatory social science research. Our research has been published in top environmental journals and has contributed to programatic changes with BOP’s volunteer, education, and community engagement programs. In 2023, we formalized our working relationship when PSS was founded.
“Working with Participatory Science Solutions was incredibly beneficial for gathering feedback on our volunteer engagement at Billion Oyster Project for long-term and short-term volunteers. Their collaborative and understanding approach ensured they actively listened to our needs, tailoring their methods to suit our specific goals. Their expertise helped us refine our processes, enhance our training sessions, and increase our overall impact. Additionally, these efforts provided our volunteers with a platform to share their experiences, truly giving them a voice in shaping our initiatives. We have seen significant positive changes as a result of their involvement.”
